WAM reported on 1 September that Dubai Chambers launched training tracks for more than 14,000 member companies in the Business Groups and Business Councils of Dubai Chamber of Commerce. WAM said the training runs on Dubai Chambers Academy, a new e-learning platform. It’s part of Dubai’s programme to move the private sector towards agentic AI, launched under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan. Khaleej Times reported that the aim is to help companies use agentic AI for everyday operations, decision-making and growth. WAM said the wider programme also includes incubators for agentic AI companies, support for firms building agentic AI solutions, and knowledge-sharing. It follows the formation of an Executive Committee for Agentic AI. Khaleej Times quoted Dubai Chambers chairman Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori saying the aim is to help companies understand agentic AI and turn it into practical applications. Zawya carried business leaders’ comments on 11 October. They said the tracks cover agentic AI concepts and practical business uses, and should help companies use data to make faster, more accurate decisions. ETHRWorld reported the programme on 12 October for HR readers. The same day, WAM and Dubai Media Office reported that 11 Dubai-based companies pledged to build agentic AI into their operations with Dubai Chambers’ support. What it adds up to
Training on agentic AI often starts with what the technology can do. A better starting point is a task in your own week that already follows clear steps, such as chasing overdue invoices or compiling a weekly status report. Write down each step and mark the ones where a person must decide or approve. Those marks show where an agent could help, and where it has to stop and hand the work back to you. If your company is a Dubai Chamber member, ask whether you can join the Academy’s tracks.
