WAM reported that on 28 April, Digital Dubai released a whitepaper introducing the AI Integration Matrix Framework for Dubai Government entities. Fast Company Middle East said the framework aims to move entities from limited AI pilots to full integration in one connected system. Dubai Media Office said Digital Dubai has used it internally to guide more than 100 AI systems across multiple sectors. Arabian Business described it as a system to connect government services, with over 100 tools already live. WAM quoted Khalifa Al Marri, CEO of Digital Dubai’s Shared Government Services Sector, saying it lets entities deploy AI in secure, sustainable technical environments. WAM quoted Digital Dubai Director General Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori calling it a shift from adopting AI to embedding it across an integrated government. What it adds up to
The problem this framework targets shows up in most organisations: separate teams running separate AI pilots that don’t connect and sometimes duplicate each other. Before your team starts another AI project, list the AI tools and experiments already running in your department, who owns each one and what data each uses. Two projects solving the same problem, or a tool nobody owns, is usually where to start.
