Welcome. This page tells you what this site is, how to use it, and what to expect — in about two minutes.

What this is

Karaza is a small AI fluency practice based in the UAE, run by me, Mahmoud Al Juaidi. I teach people — any people, no technical background required — how to work well with AI: what to hand over, how to ask, how to judge the results, and how to stay responsible for the work.

Everything I teach rests on the 4D Framework for AI Fluency — Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence — created by Rick Dakan and Joseph Feller in collaboration with Anthropic. It's their framework, not mine. My job is to help you practise it on work you actually do.

How to use this site

Read AI Fluency for Everyone first. It's the one essay everything else builds on, and it takes about six minutes.

Then work through the tutorials in order. Each one is hands-on and takes 20–40 minutes. Each is built around one real task from your own week — that's the only prerequisite for anything here. The opening run:

  1. Your First Real Task with Claude — describe a task well and judge what comes back.
  2. Put Cowork on the Job — hand a multi-step job to Claude's workspace and check its work.
  3. Skills: Teach Claude How You Work — capture your way of working so you stop repeating yourself.

The tutorials use Claude because it's the tool I know most deeply and teach with. The judgment they build transfers to any AI tool you use.

What to expect from me

Plain language, real tasks, and honest claims — including about what AI does badly. No prompts-that-will-shock-you, no productivity theatre, no pretending the tools don't make confident mistakes. Where I use AI to make things (often, including on this site), I'll say so.

Start now

Pick one task you need to do this week. Then read AI Fluency for Everyone, and take your task into the first tutorial.
